Piano music compositions

composition-piano Musicians have different ways of composing their music, some of them write the music down before they play it and others play, improvise and test things until they come to a final piece. As for me, I belong to the latter. The pieces below are recordings of my own compositions, although many of them contain some improvised parts.

The final act in composing piano music is writing it down! But, hey, I have to admit I'm not very good at it. I often just write the melody and the chords down. So if you think you can help or make me write down the music...drop me a mail!

This is one of my very first compsitions, dedicated to my first girlfriend and my first real kiss. It's the song I played before me first kiss...

This composition is about relaxing: Imagine you're sitting in a cute small café called "Le chat noir" and you're listen to the beautiful music, that someone is playing on the piano.

This is one of my favorite compositions. I like the impressionistic theme very much and it's a rather virtuoso piece. It has been composed some time in 2007, it has slowly developed from a short theme to a complete piece.

This is the last composition of "Three French Songs". It's dedicated to my girlfriend. The title means "the brown ship", but brown refers to (her) haircolour. People say that this is sad piano music, but it's both a bit sad and romantic.
